Marching Band & Guard Band Camp

Monday, July 27, 2026 – Student Leadership Group Training at 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Tuesday, July 28, 2026 – Band Camp at 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Wednesday, July 29, 2026 – Band Camp at 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Thursday, July 30, 2026 -  Band Camp at 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Band Camp required for Marching Band and Color Guard. Marching band is so much more than performing at football games. It’s a place where students make friends, grow as musicians, build confidence, learn leadership skills, and create unforgettable memories. We’re also excited to announce that next year’s show will feature the music of Queen! With huge rock anthems, stadium energy, and crowd favorite songs everyone knows and loves, this is going to be an incredibly fun and exciting show for both students and audiences. We can’t wait to bring this music to the field!

And it’s not just for students! families become part of an amazing and supportive community through games, events, volunteering, and social gatherings throughout the season.

Cost of Marching Band:

The total cost is $300, which includes a $100 non-refundable deposit due Friday, July 31, 2026 and two additional $100 payments due Saturday, September 5, 2026 and Saturday, October 3, 2026. Payments are made through SchoolCash Online, and families can always view a full breakdown of fees on CutTime.

If your student would like to get a head start this summer, here’s the link to the pep band and marching band music. If you are interested in being in the 2026-27 Silver Sound Marching Band, please practice the show music in the link above and come to the required marching band rehearsals Tuesday, July 28, 2026  to Thursday, July 30, 2026 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM! It's going to be FUN!!!

Chaperones Needed!

We are in the final stretch of the school year, and now more than ever we need your support! We are currently looking for chaperones for several upcoming activities, including Band Captain, Section Leader, and Drum Major interviews, as well as other important events. What is CutTime? CutTime is an online music program management tool that simplifies administrative tasks for music programs, benefiting both parents and the band director. Band staff can manage rosters, schedules, communications, and student financials, allowing them to track fees and payments. Parents stay informed about rehearsals, performances, and finances, with access to real-time updates and the ability to manage their child's financial obligations. By streamlining communication and organization, CutTime creates a more efficient and transparent experience for both directors and parents.  

Watch for a SMS text message to your phone with instructions on how to active your access. The text message will include a log in link.  On initial log in, you will need to enter a verification code that will also be sent to via SMS

Subscribing through Google SRHS Band Calendar

These steps must be performed on a desktop and cannot be performed on a mobile device

• On your computer, open Google Calendar.

• On the left, next to “Other calendars,” click Add other calendars  Add other calendars calendars”)  and then “and then”) From URL.

• Enter the URL of the published calendar.  Here it is: https://app.gocuttime.com/program/calendar/e7191bb9-fdf8-4002-95ee-0d8b738f6d27/ics

• Click Add calendar.  The calendar displays on the left, under “Other calendars.”  

Subscribing through iCloud Calendar (iPhone):

• Go to the Calendar app   sp=emb\&zw) on your iPhone.

• Tap Calendars at the bottom of the screen, then tap Add Calendar.

• Tap Add Subscription Calendar, enter the URL of the .ics file you want to subscribe to (and any other required server information), then click Subscribe.
