We are excited to announce that our Annual Band & Guard Banquet and Awards Ceremony will take place on Saturday, May 16, 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Polo Trace Clubhouse (13481 Polo Trace Dr., Delray Beach, FL 33446) for an afternoon full of music, memories, and fun. This is one of our favorite events of the year! A wonderful opportunity to celebrate the hard work, dedication, and achievements of our students.
This year’s theme is Motown, inspired by our show. Students are welcome to dress according to the theme, as long as attire remains school appropriate. We have an exciting banquet planned, including delicious food, awards ceremony, annual slideshow, DJ, and dancing. It’s the perfect way to wrap up the season together!
And what is the Cost? It’s $0!!! That’s right - there is NO cost to attend for each student and 2 of their guests as long as your account is current. If you would like to bring additional guests above and beyond the student + 2 guests, additional tickets are available on a first come, first serve basis. We are requesting a $20 donation per additional ticket, which can be completed on School Cash Online under: “Band - Sponsorship Donations - 2025/2026.” Any donations made will also get a “Shout Out” in the banquet program. If you make a donation for additional guests, please email the receipt to president@spanishriverband.org.
Even though this banquet is free for each student plus two guests, you must RSVP for everyone in your party in order to attend.
RSVP is required—only those who RSVP will be admitted: RSVP Form
Please RSVP no later than May 9th.
Tuesday, May 12, 2026 – Graduation Rehearsal at 3:15 PM to 5:00 PM
Thursday, May 14, 2026 – Graduation Rehearsal at 3:15 PM to 5:00 PM
Monday, May 18, 2026 – Graduation Performance at 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM
The two rehearsals, and the graduation performance, will count as your final exam grade for second semester! Rehearsals are worth 25% each and the performance is worth 50%. Students are expected to practice and know their music! Students who turn in their permission form late, arrive late for attendance, or do not follow dress code will lose points from their final exam grade. Permission form is due Thursday, May 14th, 2026.
See schedule for the day.
Attendance is at 9:30 AM for the equipment team and 10:00 AM for everyone else. This is a very formal event so we will be wearing our concert black and whites. Students should bring a sack lunch as it is a very long day and no other food will be available. Student drop-off/pick-up will be in front of the SRHS theater. Dismissal will be at approximately 4:30 PM. If you have plans to pick-up your student from the South Florida Fairgrounds after the ceremony, please provide a note to that effect, signed by the parent/guardian, when you submit your permission form.
Graduation is a very special time for the students and families of those who are graduating and it is an honor to be part of the celebration. It is also the most visible performance of our year with over 4,000 people, including the district superintendent, school board, and administration planning to be in attendance. I am confident our students will represent our program and our school with pride!
